Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and issues
- Operate GPS systems for optimal route navigation
- Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and hazmat regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
