Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/box trucks) for local and regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade road networks preferred
- HAZMAT certification a plus
