Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in urban and highway environments
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain real-time GPS tracking
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and load verification
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat/Tank preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Professional communication skills and reliability
