Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries within San Francisco and Bay Area
- Inspect and maintain vehicles according to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Bay Area streets and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning starts
- Preferred: Hazmat endorsement or tanker experience
