Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently
- Transport freight while adhering to strict delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (current medical certificate)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Diego metro area and California highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
