Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) for timely deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Safely load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Navigate efficiently through Chicago metropolitan area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Chicago routing and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
