Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Box trucks, Dry Vans) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely delivery within Boston metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills (Boston area knowledge preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
