Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and optimize delivery routes across Kentucky and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Familiarity with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area and regional highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
