Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
