Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring freight protection during transit.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including bills of lading and logbooks, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Eligible to work in the United States and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
