Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes across Texas
- Maintain meticulous delivery schedules and documentation compliance
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
