Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental U.S.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions.
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries.
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally in all customer and public interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills.
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules.
