Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting vehicle condition and maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
