Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations while adhering to time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Previous truck driving experience is preferred but not always required for qualified applicants.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift cargo and handle long hours on the road.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
