Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and balance.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies to minimize risk and ensure passenger/cargo safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and other personnel.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on role).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel regionally within Kansas and surrounding areas.
