Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and document any defects.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Electronic Logging Devices) and manage paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any route changes.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
