Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and tie-down equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Arizona.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
