Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) within strict DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries across Bay Area locations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- hazmat endorsement preferred
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
