Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure on-time delivery of goods while adhering to strict schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Practice defensive driving techniques in urban environments
- Represent Pacific Fleet Logistics with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of Bay Area routes and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
