Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver freight on time to diverse locations across Southern California
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize route efficiency
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into trailer beds
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background check and security clearance
