Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks on local and regional routes adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently while securing cargo to prevent damage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and cargo manifests.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and partners at every stop.
Qualifications
- CDL Requirement: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and be eligible for insurance.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred; however, we are willing to train qualified candidates.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
