Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across designated Texas routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery paperwork and resolve shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas highway systems and weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
