Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Illinois
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using industry-standard equipment
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Maintain impeccable safety records and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Participate in ongoing training for new safety technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
