Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes within Florida and Virginia
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Manage timely delivery of freight while maintaining accurate documentation
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and time management
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and valid TWIC card
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Florida and Virginia highway systems preferred
