Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes across Pennsylvania and Virginia
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload freight efficiently while maintaining handling protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Complete all required training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and Virginia corridor
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety-first driving practices
- Valid HazMat endorsement preferred
