Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul deliveries across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and route planning
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holiday schedules
- Must be 23+ years old with no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
