Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure proper vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and reporting
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Illinois and Virginia route networks
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic navigation and electronic logging system proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
