Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations and verify shipment accuracy
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and delivery optimization
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Report maintenance issues and participate in preventative maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
