Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) within DFW metroplex
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while maximizing fuel economy
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DFW area highways and delivery zones
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement highly desirable
