Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across designated routes in NYC metro area
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety systems before/during/after trips
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic navigation skills (GPS proficiency preferred)
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
