Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Washington and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and paperwork using electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety protocols and procedures
- Assist in securing and unloading cargo using appropriate equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by Washington State
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington State highway systems and regulations
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and transportation of hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight routes
