Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes across Missouri and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and document all vehicle conditions
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and security
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and potential issues
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all trips and cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening as required
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to undergo background check and MVR verification
