Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) over designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper documentation and securement
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and DOT regulations
- Strong customer service skills and route navigation proficiency
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
