Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with all federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, your cargo, and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
