Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate logs and records for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
