Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and log accurately using ELD.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Los Angeles traffic patterns and regulations.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
