Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (HOS) and vehicle miles driven (DVIR).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and map systems to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and road conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
