Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification updates
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Houston-area roadways and Texas DOT regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
