Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Inspect vehicle condition prior to and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
