Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight in Denver and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, HOS policies, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff regarding delivery status
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic logs via ELD systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
