Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cargo and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Ensure the security of cargo and the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Clean Driving Record required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
