As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in delivering goods across the region while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Charlotte area and beyond.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs (Eld/EOBR).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Charlotte, NC roads and traffic patterns.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
