Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across North Carolina and Georgia routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff at delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive deliveries.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
