Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Secure and unload cargo using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Complete required paperwork including delivery manifests and incident reports
- Represent the company professionally with clients and at delivery locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and major transportation corridors
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
