Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet tight schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Secure and handle diverse freight types including dry van and refrigerated
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin/Midwest roadways
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
