Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at client sites
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding deliveries
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and schedule timely repairs
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Team player with strong communication abilities
