Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53ft dry van) for regional routes within Texas
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to HOS regulations and all DOT compliance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Knowledge of Texas highway system and regional geography
