Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using forklifts and other equipment when required
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Manage delivery schedules and resolve logistical challenges proactively
- Represent Prime Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
