Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently within the Washington DC metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Adhere strictly to federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain on-time delivery schedules
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
