Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within San Francisco and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and local traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while maintaining proper securing protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Francisco's complex roadways and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, electronic logging)
